Firmware Update for RVS-250C Ultra HD Car Dash Camera Released
Rear View Safety, the industry leader in the sales and distribution of backup camera systems, as well as a strong and dedicated road safety advocate, is proud to announce the release of a firmware update for the RVS-250C Ultra HD Car Dash Camera. Download the new firmware update here. Simply put the file onto your MicroSD card and then place the MicroSD card in your dash camera. You will be prompted to update when the device is turned on. After updating, format your MicroSD card on the computer. An earlier version was packed with too many unnecessary features, causing system failures and crashes. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused. This update scales the RVS-250C down to what is it at its core, a simple, small, high quality HD dash camera. Understanding how quickly technology evolves and improves, then adapting to this change keeps Rear View Safety on the cutting edge of the industry.
The Ultra HD Car Dash Camera features an ultra-wide 120° viewing angel and a full HD 2304 X 1296 pixel resolution, guaranteeing the best quality footage at all times. The G-sensor enables event mode to automatically begin recording when the camera senses a collision or other unusual movement. This event footage will not be overwritten, and only can be deleted manually. Built-in GPS enables the user to view a driving route and see their exact location on playback. The RVS-250C can accept microSD cards up to 64GB, allowing for multiple days of recording before loop recording begins.

Dash cameras mount to a vehicle’s windshield and record everything seen out the front of the vehicle. There are many reasons to own a dash camera. They come in great use in case of an accident for insurance reasons or to present to a court, can be used to dispute traffic tickets and to protect against police brutality, and are a great way to record all the priceless moments on the road.
Rear View Safety is not a stranger to the world of safety enhancing products for drivers and vehicles of all types. Recently they introduced GoVue, the first back up camera smartphone app for the popular iOS and Android operating systems. Once the smartphone and camera system are connected via a short-range Wi-Fi network, video information from the rear of the vehicle is transmitted to the smartphone in real time. This eliminates the need for a primary monitor to be installed into the dashboard of the vehicle. The GoVue back up camera application for iOS and Android devices is currently available for free download in the Google Play Store and the iTunes App Store. Rear View Safety has long been a leader in vehicle safety solutions. The commercial backup provider is also on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
